The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a strong financial executive who will thrive in Augusta Health’s innovative and fast-paced environment. For-profit healthcare experience is highly desired. A bachelor's degree is required; master’s is preferred.

The Organization

Augusta Health is a financially strong, nonprofit community health system with more than 400 days cash on hand. Augusta Health was formed in 1994 by the merger of two predecessor hospitals in nearby Staunton and Waynesboro; a new hospital was built in Fishersville, halfway between the two communities. As the sole community provider in Augusta County, Augusta Health holds a majority market share position for most services.

Located on a 230-acre campus in Virginia’s scenic Shenandoah Valley, Augusta Health includes an integrated multispecialty group comprised of 90 employed physicians, 40 midlevel providers, and 35 practice locations. Augusta Health participates in a Medicare Shared Savings Program with an ACO which includes 195 providers and 8,200 patient lives. A strategic objective is for the ACO to expand into a true clinically integrated network (CIN) focused on expanded population management in addition to the Medicare Shared Savings Program.

Augusta Health received the Healthgrades 2017 America's 50 Best Hospitals Award for the third consecutive year.   For additional information, please visit:
