The University of Iowa (UI) Hospitals & Clinics seeks a Director, Food and Nutrition who will report to the Assistant Director of Support Services and is responsible for the daily operations and financial management of the Department which will include human resource management; oversight of the clinical and support activities; contribution to the overall performance and success of the Department; and analysis, development and implementation of strategic planning initiatives.
The candidate must possess five or more years of directly related, progressive clinical leadership/administrative experience in a healthcare delivery system or a large scale food service/hospitality organization. A master’s degree from an accredited institution is preferred. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required. Preference will be given to Registered or Licensed Dietitians. Developmental and administrative experience in a university setting or academic medical center is a plus.
