ATLANTA – For nearly 20 years, Hallie T. Banker, Senior Research Associate at Tyler & Company, has been considered a valuable resource and exemplary researcher (recruiter) by her colleagues. Recently her efforts were acknowledged by the premier body of the executive search industry – the internationalAssociation of Executive Search Consultants (AESC). And today, her dedication was applauded by her peers at AESC’s annual Researchers and Associates Summit in New York.

Banker, honored with AESC’s prestigious "Award for Excellence and Professionalism in Research," is the first recipient to represent executive recruitment in the healthcare industry. "We are delighted to announce Hallie Banker as this year’s winner," said Peter M. Felix, CBE, AESC President. "Based on her letters of recommendation and our committee’s analysis, it is evident she not only has passion for her work, but also is determined to do things the right way. She’s considered a role model, and we applaud her efforts."

Since the award’s inception in 2004, eight researchers have been honored – four from the Americas and four from Europe. It originated to acknowledge the importance of the researcher role within search firms worldwide. In many cases, this recruitment function is vital and key to a successful search. Founded in 1959, AESC represents retained executive search consulting firms worldwide, and promulgates ethical and business standards. This award also serves as a testament to AESC’s mission and values.

"I am honored and humbled by this award and thank the wonderful  mentors I've had during my nearly 20-year career," stated Banker. "I appreciate the continual guidance and support of the partners at Tyler & Company, especially Larry Tyler, who initially took me under his wing so many years ago."

"Hallie has built a strong reputation in the industry based upon the relationships she developed throughout her many years in the search industry. She is recognized as a creative, detail-oriented, team player. Her customer service ratings (internally and externally) are exceptional. Simply put, she is unconsciously competent," said Dennis J. Kain, FACHE, President of Tyler & Company. "I have been taken by Hallie’s continuous eye on improving our processes, always willing to share her knowledge with her teammates and looking to expand Tyler & Company’s reach in the market. She does all this with a pleasant, gentle manner that candidates and clients find memorable."
