This new role, created to expand leadership in response to strategic growth, offers an exciting opportunity to join a profitable, clinician-led, home care organization that is rooted in servant leadership and focused on a mission to serve the patients.
LifeSpring Home Care and Hospice is a full-service, mission-driven, nation-wide family of home care services offering home care, hospice and private duty services, including specialty veterans’ programs. LifeSpring has service locations in multiple states, with more areas currently under development. In addition to supporting its own enterprise operations, LifeSpring provides resources to its franchised agencies. LifeSpring is rapidly expanding through acquisitions and organic growth.
Reporting to the CEO, the Chief Operating Officer will help to facilitate the growth of the organization while ensuring that it remains fiscally and operationally sound. The COO will also work collaboratively with other members of the executive team to support corporate compliance, regulatory filings, franchise development, organizational development, business development strategies and more.
The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years of healthcare operational experience, preferably in the area of home health care. It is important for the candidate to have an in-depth understanding of medical billing and other financial aspects involved in the successful operation of a growing healthcare business. Knowledge of current market changes, regulations and reimbursement sources is important, as is the ability to evaluate/prepare proformas. Master’s degree is preferred.
