The new senior vice president, provider services, is administratively responsible for the Boone Medical Group. This network of providers comprises a predominately ambulatory delivery system. The new Boone Medical Group will include all existing and future employed physicians and providers, professional services agreements and other contracted clinical services. Additionally, this position will serve as the Boone Medical Group service line leader working collaboratively with existing Boone Health providers, independent medical practices, and physicians. The role will also include responsibilities to support regional physicians/providers aligned with the Boone affiliated hospital entities.
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic visionary who is agile and enjoys driving change management. He/she will need to be a strategic thinker who is able to unify teams, serve as an internal and external advocate, and remain focused on what is best for the hospital and the health care of the community. A minimum of five years of operations experience, as well as senior-level leadership experience in a multispecialty medical group practice is required. Additionally, practice management experience in a health system with an employed physician/provider model is desired. A master’s degree is required.
