Tyler & Company and FirstHealth of the Carolinas search for new system CEO.

Tyler & Company is proud to announce a new chief executive officer search with FirstHealth of the Carolinas in Pinehurst, North Carolina.

We welcome back FirstHealth of the Carolinas as a valued client and we are thrilled to conduct this search and continue our long-lasting relationship with a private, not-for-profit healthcare network that is committed to improving the quality of care provided to patients consistently.

FirstHealth serves 15 counties in the mid-Carolinas. It is one of the premier medical systems in the Southeast. The healthcare system is made up of four hospitals, primary and convenient care clinics, dental centers, home health, hospice & palliative care, health and fitness centers and a robust philanthropic foundation.

Tyler and Company successfully placed David Kilarski FirstHealth of the Carolina’s current CEO seven years ago. We are incredibly proud of all of his hard work. Under his leadership, FirstHealth of the Carolinas system is recognized at both a state and national level for consistent, high-quality patient safety and patient satisfaction ranking. Kilarski plans to retire in July 2019, Tyler & Company will conduct the search for his replacement.

Read his retirement announcement, accomplishments and leadership here.

Details of the tasks and major responsibilities can be found in the position spec.

The successful candidate will be a strong leader who possesses a successful track record as either the CEO of a similar-sized or slightly smaller hospital or health system or the COO of a more extensive health system; or similar senior executive leadership position.

This is an outstanding opportunity to lead one of the top Southern health systems. We are confident that our process – founded on client satisfaction, customization, and a high-touch and transparent approach – will deliver outstanding results as we seek the best fit for the role for the CEO at FirstHealth of the Carolinas.
